QHY8 is top on my list at the moment, would like a newer SBIG to replace my ST7 but that's out of my budget for a while I think.
Other than that, continue saving for a Paramount ME or similar, for when my LX200 packs it in.

I am working on my eyepiece line up at the moment.
Will probably sell my 20T5 in favour of a 21 Ethos, depending on what the cost of the Ethos will be.
I want to get to 2X Powermate to boost high power work if the seeing will ever improve!

Either another DSLR or a HEQ5Pro.
Definitely need the mount, but another camera would come in mighty handy too.

I'll probably order a few gable style timber roof trusses for that ROR shed I've been threatening to build for a year or 2.
I'll likely make my own wall frames.
Want a stand alone autoguider , getting one soon (an ST4) , I'll rig that up on the CG5 camera platform.
Apart from that .... not likely to buy any astrogear for the foreseeable future .
Yahoo !!!! I just finished off my 10" astrograph OTA rebuild and upgrade , just a matter of star testing it and making sure I can achieve focus with the 40D and Esyguider attached , and get that Orion Starshoot Autguider to focus and get it to talk with the Atlux.
The Atlux is in for a shock shortly .... It'll no longer be a lougeroom decoration.
Would have had the 10" out for first light tonight only it's smokey out there.

Out of my price band, looking at 7k-9k at most, probably a little Hynundai Getz or Excel. Job's gone South though, so probably won't happen on the timetable that I hoped (by end of January).

Humayun,
at risk of sounding thick - I still don't get the subaru = pleiades connection. Is it 'sole sacerdotibus' (lat: only for the initiated) or what ? ;)
Please explain

Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades. Have a look at the Subaru symbol. :)
