Bought mine for approx. $300.00 in the states. I've had it for nearly 2 years. Best buy. Never looked back. here's a pic there: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=38301

With a flat top, do you find that overnight rain collects in a big pool in the middle Marc? :confused2: Would some convex bows under the roof help... no?

Yeah it does collect water. I wouldn't setup if it's going to rain. Although I've had water in the past in stayed on the roof and didn't leak inside. The fabric is pretty much waterproof and any run off won't go inside.
What I like about it is that it can take a beating as far as wind goes. Because everything is curved and interlaced it's just very solid when it's all put together.
The only time I had a problem with it was at the SPSP2009. That night we had a lot of wind and two arches broke. I replaced two of the rod bits and now it's business as usual.
The important thing is that:
1_ it cuts the wind and keeps you warm.
2_ it keeps the dew off the laptop and electrical stuff.
3_ when you're done you zip the top and go to bed - too easy.
Thanks for the replies
Well the rain, cold, wind are not really factors here in Darwin ;) during our Dry Season, which is our main Observing time.
But more looking at Observing weekends, so I can keep the scope set up and still protected and secure so to speak during the day.
Also saw this one, 3 compartments, discontinued unfortuantely
