I reprocessed my NGC 1539 data. I got better color and core detail this time.

It still amazes me how big that cluster is!

Hello Tom,
That is an absolutely stunning image of Omega Centauri !! I'm surprised at the amount of central brightening, I recall the brightness looking more uniform visually. It looks fantastic !

Excellent image Tom.
I must admit however I prefer the obscure stuff you post.

Fantastic image Tom.
The star colours are divine.
There is a great Hubble shot of this recently since it has been repaired
with a great write up about the different coloured stars and what type they are.
And if you lived there the sky would be 100X brighter than what we have on Earth.
Greg.

Superb image Tom. Lovely colours and detail within the core.
You don't usually see the faint galaxies in the background.
Thanks

Great work as always tom, but as Steven said, I much prefer the obscure targets you usually post..
Is it just me, or to the right of the cluster is there some faint dusty patches? I've never seen that before in images of Omega Cent..
Ps. Not to nit pick, but in your first post you've typed NGC 1539, its actually NGC 5139. :)

oh i love the galaxy to the left lower portion - simply supurb
Love the colours and the depth, and all the little faint fuzzies, particularly the little blue spiral just above the right hand side of the image.
I saw this too, looks like there's a fair bit of dust in the lower right quarter... would be interested to see someone go deeper in this area.

I think the center is over exposed, and I am surprised that in a reprocess you still have the green pixel or whatever it is that was in the original image.

Ok, I'll remove the green star, but just for you - no one else.

One to stare into for ages! I love the background galaxies you have captured behind our close neighbors there.

I can't see the dust clouds (rotten monitor)but the others have seen it.
Why not try for a shot of the dust, thats would be a first.

If you look long and hard enough you will find fault with any pic,
but this is my fav glob and its an outstanding pic of it, one of the best Ive seen. The work you put into it is obvious. big thumbs up.
That's a beauty Tom, well done.
Cheers
David,
Have attached a very rough levels adjust to bring out the dust.
Tom,
I agree with David, shoot for the dust.. looks like it could be interesting!

Tom,
Yet another corker of an image. I really like how you've caught that galaxy on the right-hand side. Just gorgeous. :)
