Hi guys,
Imaged NGC1313 last night. It's certainly better than my last attempt, but I reckon I can still do better. My polar alignment was a bit off, giving me some nasty field rotation errors, so stacking was a mission as I had to do a rotate as well as a translate.... One day I'll get one of those flash software programs that will do this for me!!

Another nice image Robby.

Thats some real serious imaging time.

I'm the same...I want a program that can do everything.

Great shot Robby ! would this be classed as a irregular Galaxy ? I don't remember ever seen this one before.,looks like It is being pulled apart also looks very active to me.

Managed to find this description somewhere!
"A face-on "star-burst" galaxy found in the constellation of Reticulum. This galaxy is an irregular type galaxy that exhibits erratic star formation, the cause of which is unknown. Star formation seems to have occurred in a series of irregular, self-sustaining bursts. However, a very deep image shows that the outer parts of galaxy are also very disturbed."

It's a Bizarre oject indeed...

Cheers

Nice shot Robby. It looks almost like a disrupted barred spiral.
