One of the voices from "The Thunderbirds", our own Ray Barrett has passed away.
82, isn't a bad run.

I will always remember him as never having a hair out of place, no matter which role he was playing.

A wonderful actor, like Bud Tingwell, Ray will be missed. My favorite roles were Don's Party, The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith and Waterfront. (in fact, I think he was in Emergency Ward 10 with Bud?)
A few sad faces around here at work today.
Apparently Ray began his working life at 4BH....many...many moons ago.

I remember him as the Commodore in "The Challenge", about the 1983 America's Cup......gee's there was a lot of other well known actors in that mini series.
Its kinda sad of me knowing that!

I used to see him in the Breakfast Creek Pub quite a lot in the 1970-80's
A great Aussie actor:thumbsup:
Rip Ray.
