August 28 2007 Total Lunar Eclipse

Series was taken on an un-driven EQ-1 type mount with my Canon 350D, at prime focus of my Stellarvue 80/9D. Totality hit at just before sunrise, with the moon about 7 degrees above the horizon... I took a ton of photos at the end there with a 1 second exposure (try getting a sharp photo manually guiding :D!)

Challenging capture Don, but you just grabbed totality before sunrise - well done. Was a lot easier over here :)

Thanks Erick. *SIGH* guess I just need to buy some land there and get hold of a good pirate ship for the crossing- I'm betting Jupiter is nice and high right now there too; I'm lucky to get 37 degrees alt this year...
