I like working away from the city. Best I could hope for there is a brick wall (if I got a window!). (sorry mobile phone camera resolution.)

poor plants, suffering yet another cold and cloudy depression of a day, as has been the case for the last 100 days straight. I'm surprised they are still green.

Nice view Erick.

This is the best I get. Our office is underground, zero windows. :(

Erick,

Your on the wrong campus. I have a garden bed outside my window with a gum providing shade. Across the walkway is another garden with bottlebrushes in flower. To the left is a lawn with trees and bushes and in the background is the escarpement. The walkway leads to nursing and health sciences. Some of the sights one sees there knock about 20 years off an old blokes age ;). I'll post some pictures if I can (of the gardens only ).

If I had a job on your campus, then I'd be packing up and moving to Gerringong which I have been wanting to do for some years.

I do not believe that this is a healthy work evironment. One should be able to see outdoors, preferably get some fresh air too.

This is the prison I shall be retiring from in 130 sleeps!

Actually it's not so bad, my own little empire, listen to music all day, browse IIS when I like.

The Corea bush outside the window gets visits from Eastern Spinebills and Honey Eaters, and, as I work in a small country hospital, all my other visitors are nurses!

Cheers
Chris

Hey Roger, what's that on your PC? Is it Windows? If so, you DO have windows in your office

As for my office, my view consists of the main runway of Canberra Airport

That's just NOT fair Peter, not fair at all. Wow!

Carl - those are SUPER bird images. I'd love to do more bird photography (feathered type) but alas, I don't have the patience or knowledge to get close enough...

If you haven't see Gerringong recently you'd be in for a surprise. The housing down that way is spreading like a plague of locusts. There is a new suburb every few months.

Yep, I'm part of that - I have a block in the new Estate that's itching for a McMansion to be built on it!

OK, that looks nice but I remember from another thread you commenting negatively on being over the Pacific at 3.30am with still 6 hours to Sydney. And I don't know what it like from your perspective but airports would be just about my least-favourite place on the planet.

Agreed. I believe it degrades employee performance in many ways and kills creativity. But oh well, rent is cheaper I guess. :( Their choice. Other aspects of the job are good

:) That was quite specific... wouldn't want something shown on the screen that people shouldn't see :) at least this way it's nothing you haven't seen before :)

aye... true :)

I look east over Southern Cross station into the Melbourne CBD. If I swing to the north, I look at the Phone Dome (Etihad Stadium).

I look out of my office window across a little patch of green grass and get a prime view of the mortuary :scared:. I'm glad the windows are the frosted variety.:P

I work in a hospital as well.

Great view from your window, makes up for the size of your office :P but can you go outside and smell the fresh air?:D

I havent got a camera so i cant show you mine. I look pretty much look due west from the Sydney CBD towards the Blue Mountains from my city office window (lv29), looks like its raining out towards Wetherill Park in western Sydney right now.

I think both your tits look great Carl :P

No seriously, they look somehow stiller than still, and the extremely narrow depth of field really makes them stand out. I'd say they're the nicest tits I've seen in a long time - actually :D

I wave to you tomorrow morning, Doug. I look North to that great big, white Puffin bird (yes, I know, I've been told it's an eagle).

It looks like you want eyes in the back of your head. :)

Anyway, I'll bite. Four computers with screens I don't recognise. What's all that about?

lacad01

Ahh yep, the 5th screen was cut off from the left hand side :P
Just two systems - a laptop with a separate 20" screen then a desktop with 2 x 20" and a little 15" used for network monitoring, online chat sessions (used in my workplace quite extensively), Visio, project management, yada, yada....I'm no computer geek, just need lots of stuff to do my job on the telecoms side...:bashcomp:
Funny the laptop is sitting on an old Sun Sparc20 I sometimes fire up to test stuff out :)
