Thought it was about time I pointed the 40D at the sky...
11x30sec lights, ISO 400 at f2.8 stacked in Registax and final processing in CS3.
I wasn't really sure what I was pointing at, but wanted to capture some of the Milky Way around Antares/Scorpio.
I'm aware of the image's downsides. There's a bit of star trailing when viewed full size. There's also a bit of blue fringing around some of the brighter white stars. And then there are other 'issues'
But the journey is underway to the 'other side'. I'll have to get the camera hooked up to my C9.25 at some stage.
Tips/advice are most welcome.
