I have been lurking for a while soaking up some of the wonderful information on this site. I thought I would give a little bit back.

I am getting back into astronomy after a break following a move from Australia to Thailand. The 200mm refractor I have in storage was just too big and fragile to transport here. Anyway, a month ago I returned to Thailand from Australia with a shiny new WO FLR110 (they are expensive here) and various bits and pieces. I have a EQ6 Pro mount that I sourced locally. I plan to use it for astrophotography and observing. Slight problem is that where I live in Thailand will be cloudy until about November...lol

Here is an image that I captured in Kalbarri north of Perth during my stay in Australia. In is composed of 30 one minute exposures stacked in the startrails with two dark frames. I adjusted levels and colours in PS SC2. I used my Pentax K200D and it was my first serious attempt at a startrails image.

Thanks for looking.

I love how you've framed this, with nice colour and detail in the trees Rob.
Very appealing imo.
