Hi All...

Does anyone here have a Sony Bravia KDL-32V4000 or other V series?

The reason I ask is that mine is having trouble storing the new GO! channel.
The weird thing is that when I perform a manual tune, it picks it up crystal clear. When I assign it to a channel and attempt to switch to the newly stored channel, its like it was never there.

All the other HD channels are fine...

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or anything similar.

I'd like to think it has something to do with my reception, but when it finds the channel it is totally flawless... Its got me proper buggered!!!

Well...for starters...I believe the Go! Channel is SD and not HD.

That might be your problem:)

Not on a Sony, but I found on my PVR I had to delete all the subchannels on TCN (Sydney) and rescan the frequency. I get also get WIN (Wollongong) and had to do the same. So I have two copies of Go!

The Panasonic LCD inserted them both all by itself.

I use a separate HD digital box.
Recently, I did an autoscan to pick up GO!
For some reason I now have some multiple copies of the same stations, some of which won't run. Have the stations changed frequencies?
Pesky thing is that when I select a favourite it might pick an "empty" version of the station but when I select stations sequentially I can find a working one.
Do you have more than one GO! with one inoperative?
I haven't tried Andrew's solution (previous post).

Hi,

This is a common problem, especially some Topfields. I got 2 of channel 30, 2 of 31, 2 of 90, and 2 of 99. You can delete them selectively from the service list.

You might do best to do a full scan and replace everything. I noticed I had to rescan ATN6 several times as they seem to "tweek" it and I lose the audio.

I have a VHF band III antenna (needs replacing with a III+VI+V - cockatoos use it as a trampolene) pointed at the Sydney towers and a UHF band VI+V pointed at the Illawarra towers at Knights Hill.

I get ATN6, TCN8, TEN11 and ABC12 and the analog versions (except ABN2 which is in band I) from Sydney. I need the UHF replacement to get TSN31 (only available on analog) and SBS34.

I get WIN36, CTC37, CBN38, ABWN51, and SBS54 from Illawarra.

Where I have duplicates, I tend to sort them so the one with the better signal is first. That is the one that pressing the channel button finds. While they are all networked, the Illawarra stations sometimes have different programming, so I don't delete any.
