Nice. I wish I'd shot this with my ED80 instead of the C8. I think the collimation was out and it's a little blurry. I like your image scale and being able to see other bits and pieces of interest in that area.

LOL so you must have been up on Dawn patrol on the imaging field. nice image. I stopped imaging at around 4am most mornings - thought that daylight was just around the corner.

Very nice Tarantula. I gather it was captured with an un modded DSLR. The colour gives it away. Still a nice capture of the nebulas OIII areas.

Troy, The ED80 allowed me to get a resonable field of view. Although a WO Flattener would always be nice for a slightly wider shot.
David, Yes I did have to stay out late for this one.
Chris & Doug, thanks for the kind comments. Doug, you are correct- the Canon 20d is Unmodded

Nicely done, Geoff.
I think the core of the spider may be a little overcooked, however.
Perhaps that's something for next time.
Almost the same field of view as my shot, too. :D
