I am considering selling my AstroPhysics 140mm APO.

AstroPhysics is of course a legend and this scope is no exception.
Completely colourfree, pinpoint stars and incredible construction.
The scope has a massive illuminated circle I believe it is 100mm.

4 inch greaseless focuser, feathertouch microfocuser, AP rings (the best rings in the business and AP case plus quick relese bracket for a finder (not included) and also a dessicant plug when not in use.

This scope is about 1 year old and I am the 2nd owner. Roland Christen
makes about 200-300 scopes a year and has a long multiyear waiting list for his scopes. He is unlikely to be making any of these 140s anytime soon as he does runs on various scope models.

The scope also comes with the fantastic 155TCC which is a compressor/flattener that gives .76 reduction but with a flat field.
This gives F5.7 and on a large chip like a 16803 corner to corner pinpont stars. Hard to beat 140mm AstroPhysics quality widefield like that. Its the highest quality you're going to see anywhere period.

I paid AUD$14,000 and that is what I would be after. It would be nice to keep such a rare scope in Australia. Roland's scopes are done to a Strehl ratio of over 98.4% which only a handful of opticians can achieve.

The scope incorporates all of Rolands experience in refining his products over 20 years and embodies the best of his work.

If you are interested please let me know.
