On Saturday and Sunday nights observed for about five hours a night and observed 55 galaxies on each night, only a few where repeats, with the usual favourites such as Ngc1365,Ngc 628(M74) and the Southern Triplet, all were observed with my16"Dob and mags of x 156 and x312 using a 13mm Nagler and a 2x Barlow, a 9mm plossl was also used with the barlow giving a mag of x406,unfortunatly no supernovae where found but will keep on trying.
I'm no Bob Evans so the good old ARGO NAVIS comes in hand with the Deep Sky CCD Atlas, and the Thompson Galaxy charts I can get through Quite a few in a night. I also spent quite some time on Mars which shows lots of detail, also did my usual Binocular tour of the Milky Way, I was hopeing for a repeat performance tonight but the weather doesn't look good till the end of the week so I am having a early night tonight..astroron :astron: :stargaze:
