M42 From QLD Astrofest on the last night

M42 from Sunday morning. Once again the 70 - 300 at 70mm, 400D, 5 X 5 min, 1600 ISO.

starting to pick up a bit of flame and horsehead there, not bad at all. now for those longer subs.

When did you get time to take all these pictures?
With the baby on one arm and raffle tickets in the other hand.

Generally started doing astronomy stuff around midnight on at least 3 of the nights. Usually didn't get outside until 9:30 - 10:00 on the other nights.

Anne-Louise got some stuff too and will post in due course.
