Can someone help me name this object i found because it doesn't come up my location program it is just below jupiter and don't think it is lens flare this time.

I do believe that it's the Helix Nebula.

That would be a planetary neb called "Bruce", a hard sucker to nail :D
Hmmm, interesting, could be one of or the other, I'm guessing at Helix, when and at what time did you capture this object.

Yep....that "Bruce" is a hardy to spot:D
Might be the Helix, but it's so damn faint it's awfully hard to tell. How far away from Jupiter was it?? There's a number of PN's in the district.
Including "bruce":P:D

Thanks for your replays i think it is helix neb it is evey to see visually just look for a fuzzy patch about 10 degrease below juipter but you need long exposes to get any detail . The camera was set at f/l 98.0 f5.0 exp 4min
