NGC 6752 from Astrofest

This is a single unprocessed 6 minute sub of NGC 6752. You can make out the starfish shape, but it isn't quite as apparent as it is in the eyepiece.

I'll likely do a series of frames on this glob and stack them, but wanted to put up this single sub for now. I really like this glob.

Its a beautiful glob Eric, that's for sure. A stack and some stretching will certainly bring up those outlying stars in the cluster. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

You can definitely make out the Star Fish. What a top little glob! I can see why you like it so much.

Very nice well resolved Glob. Would be nice fully worked up with a few images and stacked. Nice tight round stars.

Eric an absolute cracker, great, one of my all time favourite globs. 3rd best in the Sky and we have 'em all as well as that little one in Hercules that "they" dare to call a gem, it probably is if you are that far North. The Starfish cluster as I remember was nick-named by an ASNSW member Mark Fisher in the 70s or 80s, think I got that trivia from a column written by Danny Gooden (also ASNSW) years ago in Omni Science Digest.
