I would like to get hold of a LXD75 mount to do some experimenting with. Is there someone who has upgraded and would like to be relieved of the old mount. It needs to be complete and in working condition and at a reasonable price otherwise I will need to buy a new one.

If such a device is available PM me with your price.

Hi Barry,
I have an LXD 75. It is in as new condition, and has been upgraded with Warp's belt drive upgrade. It has the 2" legs, and not the 1.75" of the early LXD75's. I purchased it new and it has been kept well.
It has a new hand controller, that has been upgraded ago in firmware around 4 months ago.
I was going to use it as a backup to my HEQ5-Pro, but am not really using it enough - it was going to be a DSLR imager for widefield.
$480 is the price, and it comes with everything except the counterweight - that weight is being used. I can send photos if you wish, and I still have the manual, and all the original equipment, although probably not the boxes.

It runs a lot smoother with the belt upgrade than the old encoders.

Regards
Clinton

Hi Clinton

That sounds OK. It will certainly suit my purpose. The missing weight is no prpblem. I know of the belt mod and that would have been one of my tests. Where are you. Send me a PM with an address and when I can get it.

Un-shameless bump on Barry's behalf, as Clinton has not been seen or heard since responding.
