This is data from saturday and sunday night combined...

12x600 sec images.
6 darks and 13 bias frames.

I used the red channel as a luminance for the image...

Thoughts??

The background has a bit of a green bias, but otherwise a top image.
Well done.

Nice shot there, Alex. Like Mike said, a little green, but that doesn't matter:D:D

I see the green you're talking about.. I still have the edited tiff with all the layers saved.. I'll hit it again later today and update the images.. Despite the green tinge to the background I am very happy overall.. but would still love another 2 ~ 6 hrs exposure ! :D

That's a ripper Alex,

Nice scope with plenty of DSO capability, well done.

More please, when you get the chance....

Cheers

really.. Ugh.. Is it better than the last one? I'll have a fiddle again and see what I can come up with..

Thanks Andrew.

You're welcome.

I think from memory this one may be a bit worse as it seems to have it across the whole frame but should be easier to fix by getting all three channels to line up.
Try and get the histogram to have all three curves approx under each other so the final curve is a nice even "bell curve" (not tilted) if that makes sense.

Ok i hit the levels again.. Looks better to me.. maybe slightly blue in the background now, however nicer all round I think...

Needs more data!! :)
