M8 Lagoon and M20 Trifid with ED 80

Hallo south guys,
Last week we had clear sky in the Czech Republic. I took picture of this nebulaes in Krusne mountains, because I had vacation. I took this picture with my Canon EOS 350 D modified and Skywatcher ED 80/600 on EQ - 6 Skyscan mount. And result? You can see here:

Hi Pavel, I think the framing is a bit tight and there's too much light in the core of M8. Check out Dougs M8/M20 widefield (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment_browse.php?a=61152). Alternately, I'm just some random idiot on the Internet :D

Very nice! Robin is right, the core of M8 is slightly burnt out, something that should be easily fixed... I love seeing these two in the same field of view!

Great to see what you can do with that little ED80.

Like the others have mentioned, however, it seems the centre of M8 is way overcooked. Try backing off on the curves (if that's what did it), or selectively mask that region.
