Club for Mackay

Hi all I have Just bought a 10" Meade Starfinder on a Dobsian Mount Second Hand and tried to find a local club only to discover they have moved "BUMMER". So I thought I would see if there is any interest in starting up another club for Mackay. I am very new to starwatching an need help and advice with my scope its not perfect and needs repairs to mirror eg recoating but I am going to put up with it for the time being as I can still get some good views my first of jupiter were great:eyepop:. I am wondering if it needs collimating and how to do it I have found instructions but am nervous about damaging the mirror's :doh::sadeyes:
