Just thought I would load an example, of some images I have been playing with...

I have been teaching my brother, the art of light drawing...
We will move onto flora soon and do some landscapes. I needed to teach him about exposure and how to illuminate things correctly.

This is us just mucking around, I hope soon to post some landscapes...

These are taken with a digicam and 8sec exposure was max, so we had to move quick. Since these, I have invested in a Canon 350d. I hope to utilise this instead in future shots...

Thanks for looking, comments/advice welcome!

Yeah!! We found these nifty little lights, they have a finger strap and come in packs of ten. Cheap too!!

Will be great on landscapes, greens for plants, blues for water....

Can't wait to start painting my first image...

Nice work :)
I remeber seeing an old Time Life photo of Picasso mid flight doing a light drawing, from memory it looked like a bull.

"I see you have constructed your own lightsabre, young Mitchell. Indeed, you are powerful in The Force, just as the Emperor suspected":P:D

Thanks guys and gals!! I had a blast, I think he even had more fun than me.
He is really interested, in the painting of organic objects like I am... That's great because it is a whole lot easier, with two people to paint a landscape than one.... He's good to, almost too good for my liking... He has a real concept of light and its application to objects etc... keen eye.

This is my little brother by the way, I'm the eldest of three.
