Hi all
Got my new Baader Multi purpose Coma Corrector today. Despite cloud I set up and got a starfield shot in a hole in the cloud to test it on my 10 inch F5.6 newt. I am very happy with the MPCC, it passes the test

Heres a full resoloution crop from the extreme bottom left corner of the shot, stars as good as in the middle, normally thered be huge coma visible here. Taken with 300D, 45 sec ISO 1600.
Now all I need is some clear weather do do some proper DSO imaging with it :)

I am happy for you Scott. i was going to call over yesterday afternoon to see if you got your new toy yet. Now I know you do.
Now it looks as thought it does the job, can't wait to see it in full flight!
I also have been playing around, have a look at the equipment secion, I just posted an update to the M500 thread I had. I think we will have to get together sometime to work out the bugs in the system, maybe even work out how to add the cometchaser!!

Howdy
Actually its better than a paracoor, which ironically is more expensive and increases the focal length of the scope (making it slower photographically) by 1.15x
The MPCC doesnt alter the focal length at all :)
heres a review http://www.licha.de/astro_review_mpcc.php
The Paracorr is $215 USD, the MPCC is only $144 USD

thanks scott, sorry for nooby questions, but how would an eyepiece fit in? it mentions 2" scope side which will go in my 2" crayford, but the t thread on the other side. My assumption is that the canon 350's etc would be in prime focus at around 55mm @ 50mm fl. My Toucam is around 5mm in prime focus, so unless i can do afocal imaging ie digiscoping, i can't get nice wide images??

No worries feel free to ask :)
It will actually screw on to the barrel of 2 inch eyepieces, may need an adaptor for 1.25inch, at this stage I will be just using it for photography. It screws into a standard T adaptor ring and the other side goes into the 2 inch focuser of the newtonian.
