NGC 6188 in RsGB

Backyard under suburban light pollution Toongabbie NSW suburb of Sydney captured with QHY9, guided, WO P-FLAT3 0.8x FFR, WO FLT110 f/7, HEQ5 Pro mount, Ha 7nm (7x20min) Oiii 8.5nm (10x20min), processed was done using red=Ha/synthetic green=Oiii+Ha/blue=Oiii, in progress working towards Hubble palette need to capture Sii data.

Inspiring stuff Eddie - absolutely beautiful.
Stars look a bit "funny" as is to be expected with a Synthetic RGB but "WOW!!!" detail and the light in this image is awesome.
Wouldn't worry about SII data - you've got a killer image there!
Now I know what I want to do - Synthetic RGB!

That is absolutely sensational. A truly superb rendition of this object and to think you took it surburban Sydney. Amazing.

You've captured those nice folds in the gas/dust in the bottom right very very well. I did not get that clarity with a 180mm triplet
and dark pristine skies so you've done really well there. The image looks a bit like the sun poking through storm clouds.

Your 110mm triplet at F7 - do you know who made the lens? WO sometimes had TEC supply lenses for the 110 but not sure if they
still do. That lens is certainly a beauty, probably very high strehl ratio. Triplets rule eh?

I also think you have chosen your gear very well. A very nice combo that is working beautifully. Don't take that for granted as not all gear goes together as well as that.

Got to be one of your most astonishing results Eddie... Absolute ripper!!

Greg - Some FLT110's had TEC lenses, some had TMB lenses... From what I've read, both are equally incredible value for money.. As seen in the image shown here, they deliver the goods!

I believe the FLT110 I have is a TEC lens, it's working out quite well with either QHY8 and/or QHY9 :thumbsup:.
