Hi, took this of the Swan Nebula the other night as follows:
LRGB 30:20:20:20 through ED80 2min subs with DSI III Pro.
PS curves, levels. Used Hutech LPS-2 filter and WO x0.8 flattener.
This object has a dynamic range!
Thanks for viewing.

Nice shot, Doc, you've captured quite a bit of detail in the neb':D:D

Nice shot of the outers reaches of the nebula....... but it looks like you cooked the "Goose" in core

Thanks guys - Yes I tried again at toning down the core of the neb based on the feedback (attached)

That's better....... is it "Well done" rather than "over cooked" this time?:D

Thanks Mitchell. Keep plugged into this forum and you will be on your way for sure! Lots of learning for me -but I suppose that makes it worth it really. Long way to go, and if we get close we realise how much further we need to go!
Trevor - I would say "well done", don't think I can get it "medium rare" at that F6 focul length. Next time will get closer where I can display the outer region and the inner core in the one frame without "cooking the goose" as you say!;)

Very nice Paul. Good focus and guiding. Not an easy one to process, very bright core and faint outer neb.
