Hi everyone greetings from Ireland. Heres an image from Aug 8 showing different types of solar prominences that appeared around the same part of the disc. Taken with a modified PST at f/20 DMK21 camera from my observatory near Birr.

Hi Dave and welcome!

What modifications has your PST had? I have not seen to many PST images with surface features.
Looks great!

Thanks for yor kind comments.

Yeah Paul I'd never seen spicules before and my jaw dropped when I got the first view thro' this beast.

Matt I call it a PST-B90. It is a Badder D-ERF 90mm energy rejection filter. Thats on the front of a Celestron C100ED f/9 refractor. At the focuser is the box of the PST including the etalon piece, prism and built in BF5 blocker. Most modders are getting rid of the box altogether (thats the "B" in PST-B) and using a BF10. But I'm currently saving up for a BF10 at the mo. So in effect I have a 90mm Halpha scope for about a tenth of the cost. Will post an image of it soon.
