Here's two more images from July 8th. They are both from earlier in the night. One, while Callisto was still in transit and the other just after the transit. It was a pretty interesting night since Ganymede was also near Jupiter before it's occultation. Io was creeping up on Jupiter at the end of the night. Those pics are still waiting for attention. An amazing amount of detail in those Dave, stunning in fact.
Perhaps a tad too much limb darkening (gamma/curves reduction?), but beautiful work nonetheless.

I think it's a bit too much on the curves. The limbs are fairly weak with my alt-az mount but I shouldn't have them too dark, like you say. Sometimes if I brighten them a little more, it also looks like the whole planet has a film or a haze of some sort on it so I've been looking for a happy middle (not knowing what else do do...) Thanks.
