I'm still fiddling around with mastering bright objects with a large achro.
I still don't have a good camera so I used the kids 6MP Samsung cam
I use a Sirius -V filter then into CS2 for processing.
1/250sec OSC
It gives me good practice until I can get a Canon.

Might pay to grab a semi-apo filter (http://www.myastroshop.com.au/products/details.asp?id=MAS-175)....will help reduce the fringe.

Yes I have but the image size is to small.
I must get a web cam and try it again.

Some really nice Shadow detail in both your images there.

I must have the cheapest imaging setup on IIS. Still, I think a lot can be done with a non APO refractor.
