Hi Philip,
I agree with Frank, the image is very nice indeed. The focus looks spot on, and the shadows show the landscape definition well.
I wouldnt crop the image, but that is just my opinion. I think its OK as is.
If you do crop it though, keep the original also.:D
Well done.
Geoffro.
thanks for the comments. I was only going to crop it to remove some frame stacking lines on the edges. The picture was a stack of 125 out of1000 frames captured at 25 fps. the seeing was so favourable captured the whole terminator in about 14 1000 frame videos. When printed out and fitted together as a mozaic produced a sequence 120 cm long . Looks quite good.

here is a picture of the same feature 2 days later when that part of the moon was well illuminated with very small shadows and you can still see the wall

Nice work, Philip. It might be helpful to add the Universal time (for mosaics, perhaps the approximate start and end times) to the file name or to the description. That is true, I think, of planetary images in general, but especially so for ones showing details along a terminator. It helps others understand your observation, and in the case of lunar images, know when that lighting can be observed again.

I'll make a note of that jim, thanks for commenting
