Can anyone help?

Hi folks, i need some help here.
I was able to aquire a skywatcher 200mm newt off a dear friend some time ago.
It was in pieces when i got it and was missing (apart from other things) the focusser end ring (see pic).
The scope is a right pig to collimate and keep collimated because this ring is missing and has no rigidity at the focus end.
Has anyone out there got one that they want to part with?
Tall order i know but i thought id try.

You could go down to Bunnings and pick up a 300x300 sheet of ply and cut out a new ring. Whack four screws through the existing holes from the inside, and you're away. You could even paint it black if you felt enthusiastic!

This should fit snuggly on a 230mm diameter rolled tube. PM sent.



Unless you purchase a decent grade pine, either a A-A or A-B grade hoop pine, when you cut a narrow ring there will be lots of voids and gaps between the layers. Bunnings plywood is one of the worst, in my opinion. Only good for firewood.
