I'll be at the Roar/Gold Coast United derby on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium.

Really looking forward to this season.

Have never watched any of the A league stuff, is it any good? although it doesnt seem to popular in here

I am however a massive fan of Brittish football (massive Rangers fan, and no its not SOCCER) and i follow the English Permier League, as it is without a doubt the best league in the world.

What teams are in the A league? Do they have those stupid funky names that sound all American?

The standard's not too bad. Not EPL....but certainly up to The Championship.

I suggest you check out the A-League website to see which teams are in the league. It's only a small league...but that's more about long-term (financial) sustainability than anything else.

And yes...many of the clubs have very naff (American-style) names: Roar, Victory, Fury, etc

What can you do:lol:

CC Mariners had a 1-1 draw last night. Any points on the table helps in the end.
How's any one else's team going thus far?
