Phew, all day processing and here they are..
- 10" dob (no tracking)
- Sony DSCP100 5mp digicam on a fixed tripod, taking shots afocally through a 32mm GSO plossl
- 1/1000s exposure
- I used burst mode to grab 5 shots in sequence
- Each image on the composite is a stack of 5 shots, stacked in registax and processed in photoshop.
I have a 3000 pixel wide full size version if anyone is interested :) Though it looks noisy at that resolution because of my processing :)
Comments welcome.

great stuff, mike, i have been hanging out for this all day.
I also used registax. It is funny that the box to select is not big enough for the moon!

Nice compilation Mike, I was too lethargic to take this in, as it was timed at between 2200 and 0200 here.
Good to see you returning to the afocal method as well.

Thanks guys.
And Gary, I wasn't happy to be doing afocal again.. such a PITA with the tripod etc.. :)
Here's a couple of higher-res shots, the first is the before and the second is the max eclipse.

Very Nice Mike! :2thumbs: in fact congrats everyone - there all great :) I really the Ken's as well - the Kodak is amazing!
It was much too windy where I am to bother getting the dobs out :( but i watched most of it just the same - as usual the full moon seemed to burn a nice big hole in the clouds for a good part of the show - very cool! had a nice moon halo around the moon from the high clouds to boot!
nice shots...
hey they look loke the once on spaceweather :P
Great photos Mike and congratulations on making spaceweather.
