Did anyone watch the Doco on the ABC tonight, on the Star Disk discovered in east Germany, showing an understanding of the Sun Moon & Plaides in Europe in the Bronze age in 1600 BC, quite a revalation apparently as this was thought to be the sole preserve of the middle east at that time.

Yes, an interesting story, But I was not surprised to learn that Northern European people had this type of understanding at that time. They may not have had the architecture of the mediteranians, but that would not have stopped them having a sound understanding of the cosmos.
