Hi all,

Thanks to Barb and David, I found this area very interesting.

I used a focal reducer for this one, so it's not quite as up close and personal as my recent efforts.

LRGB image (Luminance is combined Ha and Lum data, an hour of each, then RGB 30 minutes each binned 2x2)

Really quite difficult to process as it's quite dim. I got the nicest colour definition from the colour combine in CCDStack.

There's some quite blocky stars, which I'm attempting to fix...

Cheers
Stuart

Stuart, you want to try and reduce the size of your piccie when you post it. It's pretty big!!!:) Makes any imperfections like blocky stars less noticeable:)

Nice shot, though:)

up close even with the reducer !!!
i had a go at this one too, have held back as i found it hard to process as well, except mine is about 10 times wider.

Looks good Stuart, like to see it posted smaller. Will come back to the image after your repro on the stars.

Barb found it one of the most difficult objects to process.

There sure is a lot happening in the image. Looks not too bad to me.

Very interesting bit of sky. Nice rich colours but I can understand the dificulties in processing this. Will look better with a star reduction for sure.
Nice job Stuart.
