While I am still in the process of repairing my observatory which was damaged by the winds that swept Victoria a couple of weekends ago, here is a reprocess of an extremely faint nebula surrounding a Wolf Rayet star.
6.5 hrs exposure total BRC-250 STX10ME.

Nice shot, Steven. You've managed to pick out quite a bit of detail in the neb surrounding the star.

Seems like you have done extremely well to bring out this object Steven, 6.5hrs with a STX10ME that's a heap of data, nice result and worthy of the repro.
Hope none of your gear got damaged when the obs was hit with the high winds. We felt it also and it was not nice.

Thanks Clive.
Thanks David.
Fortunately the equipment wasn't damaged. The observatory uses a split roof which opens 180 degrees. One half of the roof was blown open and left hanging on a single hinge in the wind while the observatory door was blown off it's hinges.
Thanks Carl.

Thanks Doug, Glen, Tom and Justin.
The only other amateur image I know of this object was taken through a 16" RC in Chile.

Steven
