Just a little something I pulled together last night.

55mm @ f4, ISO 800.

10 lights @ 4min each, flats and darks. DSS and PS CS2 for stacking and processing.

Very nice Trevor - lovely colours and detail and for such a relatively short exposure.

Very nice widefield Trevor - well framed, good colours and the added context of the milky way in the frame next makes for a striking image! Well done!

Cheers, Marcus

By my calculations, it is indeed. The bottom left is The Butterfly cluster, which will be the start of next months target, from there down to M21. The trick here will be to not wash out the picture with too much Milkyway.

Thanks, the difference here is going from 1.30min subs to 4min, gave me a lot more data to work with. Still a bit "scared" of stretching things too much, I like a bit of black in my sky:whistle:

I was in Mt Victoria doing the "yule" thing for Xmas in July. Friday night was crystal clear and I couldn't help thinking Ilford must have been great. :)
