M31, M32 (below) and M110 (up top.)taken this morning at 330 at ten chain hill observatory. 60 mins of 1 min subs. un guided on a SW qe6 pro, taken through a SW ED 80 and cannon 450D.

Nice! I think I'll try next month or the month after for M31.... Wait till its rising at a more civilized hour! :) As you may have noticed last night, by 3:30am I've usually had far too much rum to target something as serious as M31!!

Nice image Les, nice warm colours, although i am thinking a good 60sec master dark would improve it more than any processing at this stage.

Good amount of detail captured Les. The banding does spoil the image how ever.
Looks like you definitely had the EQ6 tracking like a champion Wes. Way to go!

does this look any better? i used. some darks, flats etc. i think it has brought in more detail but there is still some banding there.

Nice shot Les:D. You need to increase the length of your subs...that'll help get rid of that noise in the piccie. I've been trying to clean it up for you, but so far I've had no joy on the galaxy itself.

It's a bit burnt out in the guts, but overall it's a big improvement Les.
Processing can be very difficult. Subtlety is the key.

well i am glad you like it. yes feel free to see what you can achieve. my processing skill are very limited at this stage. any more tips are very much appreciated.
