Heads-up....tonight on SBS (One and HD)....

How the moon was formed is still unconfirmed. The latest thinking suggests it was created after a collision between the Earth and a Mars-sized planet early in the Earth's history. This documentary explores the lunar landscape, its countless craters and the scars from millions of years worth of impacts.

Very interesting show. I wish I had $100million spare. Maybe I'll pass the hat around at Astrofest.

Good show....very interesting and topical. We need to not only go back there, we also need a show stopper....goto Mars. NASA needs a lot more funding, but I also believe that this should be an international effort. Everyone, including China, should get together and get the ball rolling (but that's probably a bit of a pipe dream).

I agree an international effort would be good. Space exploration needs the human touch it's great to send drones to places like Mars but it's not the same as actually going in person.
