Hi all
I have just joined this group - it looks great. My name is Matt (I recognise many of the members here from other forums) and I have been observing and imaging for many years - you may not be able to tell from my images!
My favourite targets are the Moon, Sun and planets - deep sky is pretty limited from Brisbane. I use an 8" LX90 and a solarmax H alpha 40. I have become addicted to the Sun!
Here is an introductory image of some solar system stuff.
Looking forward to dropping by often.

Hi Matt
Welcome to Ice In Space! I remember you from the LPI group – boy, did I have fun with that LPI, my introduction to Lunar & Planetary Imaging!
That’s a beautiful montage of the Solar System – really quite spectacular!
Cheers
Dennis

Hi Dennis
The LPI was (is) a great introductory toy. I have seen heaps of your stuff over many years - very good.
Thanks for the welcome.

Hello Matt:
Welcome to the Forum.
You show a fantastic assembly to us.
Pity that the planet needs Earth, you know? , between Venus and Mars. :D
I hope to see many of your photos .
Many greetings

Thanks all.
Hey David U,
Here are some of my favourite captures - most are recent(ish).
My lunar is with my 8" LX90 with 2.5 powermate and Imaging Source DMK21 stacked and tweaked in Registax5.
My solar (I love the sun!) is with my Solarmax 40 H Alpha scope, 2.5 Powermate and DMK21.
I am thinking on upgrading to a DMK41 (bigger chip) - I also love astronomy toys!
I hope you like
