Hope you enjoyed your stay Chris, just watch out for those Sabre-tooth Geckos.

Nice photos Chris. It’s a beautiful place Darwin. I spent 4 days in Darwin with my old work and it was like a different world with wildlife.

Cheers

Thanks Ian & Justin for your comments.
Darwin is a great place. I'm thinking of going back in the summer. They tell me it rains all the time so it should be interesting.

Chris I was there during the summer and I can only describe it as HOT.
It was like working in a sauna. Winter time is nice if you are not used to the humidity.

The tropics are best avoided during the early summer season (the build-up or silly/suicide season).

Stiffling heat and humidity can make it seem you're breathing warm water and the building clouds just never quite bring relief with rain.

I'f you're a storm chaser looking for lots of lightening and rain then end of the build-up give big heapum woppum storms.

Thanks for the info Justin,
I love a good storm and casing them might provide a great photo oppertunity.
Staying in the air-con as much as possible should help.
