As I had the 10" in action last night, and the night was better than I have seen for ages (OK the clouds were not there), I tried a new image.
I had viewed this cluster/planetary last season, and it stuck in my mind.
The image needs more exposures, but you get the point.
10" f5 newt, Nikon D100, ISO1000, three separate exposures each four minutes. Stacked/levelsed in PhotoShop.

Thanks Guys,
it was one that I had wanted to see if I could shoot, given that it is a nice view as well. I was happy to just get it.
Not sure Mck. It looked to all money like a space ship doing donuts, but it couldn't be could it?????????
First thought was a piece of crap on the chip, but that would render black, so I am stuck.
For now I'm going with the Donut Theory.

Great shot!

The circle thing might be flare from a bright out of frame star but I'm just guessing.
