Ta, baby.
Really appreciate the post here. Meaning to buy the Mac version for about three or four years. Bought three copies. 6 cents a real bargain!

Do you need to have iTunes installed to download this software?

Not only an iPhone/iPod app, software available for MacOSX and Windows.
Go for it!

The main page says StarVoyager 1.1 free download today. I've followed every link there is but am still to find the download button for this offer. However I did get StarGazer 4.5 for 1 cent so I can't complain.

It's brilliant software guys - so I think you'll like it when you get it.

I can imagine that they will be spending a few days correllating the purchases on their end and issuing emails with download links shortly. You'll probably get a serial number in the email, and I gather that they will be spending their time allocating serial numbers to names, etc. which is why it isn't immediate. I reckon that they took on several new customers during that 24 hours.

I've been running the full PC version for years and think that it's my favourite planetarium by far. I've bought the Mac version this time around, and have it already on the iPhone (which is only at release 1,1 but already quite good).

SkyGazer 4.5 Online Download
TEMPORARILY DISABLED - Due to unexpectedly high volume, this download has been disabled at the request of our webhosting provider. We are working with our hosting provider to resolve this problem. Serial numbers will be emailed to all customers who have purchased them.

No Searial number for me as yet. I think they are limiting to avoid massive downoading of the software.

My serial number was issued last night by Tim at Carinasoft. He emailed to tell me that there was an "unexpected" take-up of the offer, and he hasn't slept since the offer opened. He's a tad stressed, the poor lad. LOL

Chris,

When I emailed them you should have seen the spelling of my name in the reply. It went something like "Hymanun"

lol, poor guy. I wrote back thanking him/them for their wonderful gesture.

Humayun
