I have to admit that this is probably my most favourite object in the sky, I could look at it all night! I like this type of photograph too, as it is very reminiscent of what you see in the eyepiece with a bit of magnification. Only M13 comes this close, but I gotta say Omega is better(for me)!

Hi Trevor, good guess but only half a cigar on that one!!:lol: The acquisition data should be with the image.:shrug: Bintel 200mm f5 reflector, home modded cooled DSI Pro 2(7degrees), luminance only, 20x42.4 frames stacked in Envisage and very minor curves and levels in PS CS2. Guided.

You're right -- it does resemble what you'd see through the eyepiece, only brighter.

Yes it is a really spectacular Glob. It looks even better in colour...
