I'm concerned not to overload my mounts and in the process of checking weights of various components, I began to wonder whether the stated capacity is to be understood as being INCLUSIVE of counterweights or not. I'm looking at an LXD75 that has a rated capacity of 47 Lbs (22 kg) and an EQ6 Pro (25kg I think).
Any ideas?

Hi Peter,

Carrying capacity is equipment load, counterweights aren't counted.

...used to be that the diameter of the worm wheels should be not less than half the diameter of the objective or primary mirror, and the diameter of the axes should be not less than one sixth.
