Hi all,
Here's a shot of the ISS passing the Pleiades, Mars, Venus and the Hyades earlier this morning. Venus appeared as a temporary member of the Hyades today, as seen in this image. Interesting to see how fast it's moving at the moment.
There's also a wider-field view (from Pleiades to Sirius) taken a few minutes later.
It was worth getting up for this, because I witnessed a fantastic alpha Capricornid fireball just before the ISS pass! I posted a description of this in the general chat forum.
Cheers,
Stephen
