Here is some data from 2 nights ago, July 8 UTC. Saturn is getting low in the west just after sunset, making it very difficult to get good images.

Here's the first image, red channel data only. It shows a pair of very small , bright storms in the STrZ (top centre) and a bright equatorial spot just below the rings to the left of centre.

cheers, Bird

Well done Anthony, have already replied to your email.
This is a prime example to all of coming up with scientifically useful data when the position of the object and seeing conspires against you.

This may not have the same general appeal, as do the exquisite colour images that you continually produce, but it does capture detail of scientific significance.

Hi Anthony

Well, you seem to be immune to poor seeing and low altitudes from the look of this Saturn! A really nice image for the conditions, revealing so much more than I had expected.

Cheers

Dennis

Nice Anthony - cannot believe you are still capturing detail on Saturn at this altitude
