Hi All,

More narrowband stuff. I only noticed that there is significant detail in the SII of this not the OIII like I thought after I had finished. So I took the Ha and OIII at 1x1 bin, SII at 2x2, should have swapped the OIII and SII subs around. Hence the stars have a terrible red outline to them, I have tried to reduce it, but this is as best as I can do ATM. The planetary nebula itself show remarkable structure, I can't be accused of underprocessing this one...

This is a full resolution crop from the image.

Edit: I have since reprocessed it to remove the red halos thanks to Clive!

I admire your work ethics Stuart. You certainly made the most of the recent clear skies. I really enjoy what you've presented with this target - resolution obtained is outstanding. I still have a recollection of Fred's post sometime ago. Appears to be a tough target to say the least. Well done.

New gear helps to motivate...

Playing with the MOAG and RGH is fun. Also the Ashes in England help to while away the hours whilst imaging, Punter and Kat are doing really well, woohoo!!

a little underprocessed i think, a little more could have removed the red outline.

i couldnt resist, hope you dont mind:D

you have had a lot of time under some clear skies, the advantage of narrowband that the moon doesnt ruin everything.

Great image Stuart, the resolution does look amazing... Must be a tiny little target given the 100% crop... you've done very well to get good detail within the main body of the nebula...

Very nice Stuart, Looks like some sort of flat worm. I like the phosphorecent blue colour. Maybe NB isn't that bad while the colours look realistic.
