Greetings Folks,
I have to rearrange my astro inventory so here is the items
that I have to sale:
Losmandy G11 with digital drive/12V DC plug-pack
Celestron C8-N f5 Newtonian/ focuser upgraded
Eyepieces: 30mm/25mm/12.5mm Plossl
5mm/6mm Ortho
8mm Hyperion
30mm UW Andrews 80deg 2"
ED 3X Barlow
10 colour filter
Newtonian collimator
43mm T-ring
Meade variable camera adapter with Canon attachment
All in a padded alum case.
I include a SLR camera see here:
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=44768
The Newtonian modified, for extension do to the lower profile of the new focuser.
The optics is better than I expected. I used mags. 600x to see Antares
and pups, and it's a beauty.
I'm not qualified (and I'm biased :P) to estimate optical errors, but there are no zone, astigmatism in the mirror. The surface is smooth, and in-out of focus diffraction rings is identical.
I put a fan with rubber suspension on the back to control the cooling.
Monitoring is than with a digital thermometer (inclouded).
I ask $4450 for all this.
Cheers,
Mick.
