Took a few random AVI's after capturing the X on the moon the other night.
Seeing was so-so, 5/10 with a lot of wind blowing and I was setup on the decking (only place I could see the moon at that time), so it wobbled a lot whenever I moved, or the dog or cat came wandering past.
I used the 3x barlow for these, and tried a technique of using multiple alignment points in registax and then combining the resulting images in photoshop, to compensate for the undulating type of seeing where you don't get the whole frame sharp at any one time.
I wasn't that careful with them, really just experimenting, and trying to get the lovely range of grey's in a moon image that Wes Higgins achieves. More work to be done :)
These craters are unidentified to me right now, so if you recognise them, by all means name them :)
