I've read the article in this months issue of "Sky and Space" on pg 90 and found that this is a first for the southern hemisphere the pics are rare because they take a year to complete and can fail due to bad weather.The pics show the sun trail through the sky during a year and each location shows a different parabola.

I believe the first analemma for the Southern Hemisphere was taken by Bob Price ( Astronomical Society of Albury Wodonga ) and was published in the Border Mail on the 16th July 2005.

I think there article should of more correctly said it was the first taken by women ( probably world first).

They are amazing pics! It certainly shows the difference of the Summer and Winter Sun. Lot's of height difference!!
