For Sale: The only apartments in China where the kitchen is now located in the back of the bathroom. Ideal way to washup straight after dining. PS The Entrance is now through the first apartment, 10 apartments down at the start of the now 'linear lifts'.

It appears to me there was a built in safety feature in their design - The distance between buildings was greater than their height !

The footings for our shed are alomst as deep as the ones on the fallen block appear to be!! Maybe they broken on the falling down part of the equation. Perhaps thats where the problems started (ie from the ground up - then back down again).

Looks like they used the same concrete in the piers and foundations of the building as the one used in the dams that broke a few years ago when they had all this bad rain and flooding. Turned out that "the officials" and "local councils" took some back pay to look the other way and only used some of the money to actually pour concrete. The rest was hollow cladding "rendered" to look like concrete. Too much corruption in the building industry in China I reckon. The only solid wall there seems to be the great wall

Amazing clear and well focused picture. I've seen how they build multi story buildings in China. If I was the person holding the camera I'd be really worried about the building I was standing in.
